Freedom of information

The Freedom of Information Act provides public access to information held by public authorities.

It does this in two ways:

  • public authorities are obliged to publish certain information about their activities. Digital Health and Care Wales do this through the adoption of the the Information Commissioner’s Office Model Publication Scheme; and
  • members of the public are entitled to request information from public authorities, as below.

Members of the public are entitled to request any recorded information held by Digital Health and Care Wales.

Digital Health and Care Wales may be unable to provide the information you requested if it is not hold held by us, covered by one or more exemption under the Freedom of Information Act or it would cost too much or take too much staff time to deal with the request.
