Review of academic accreditation of Computer Science degrees launched by the BCS

A new review will ensure that computing graduates have the skills needed to drive economic recovery as data science and AI change the industry post COVID-19.

The British Computer Society (BCS) has launched a review of academic accreditation of computer science degree courses to ensure graduates have the skills needed to drive economic recovery and growth across the UK.

Our Head of Workforce & OD, Prof Wendy Dearing is part of the review panel.  She said "I’m really pleased to have been invited to participate in this important review. As an employer, NHS Wales Informatics Service and the wider NHS Wales really support the programme of work and I look forward to playing a part in ensuring our future graduates have the skills employers are seeking."
